As I sit here watching the Wings game with my husband Ryan, I am filled with mixed emotions. Part of me is thrilled that I’m not scrambling to prepare for market in the morning and part of me is sad that I will be missing my weekly ritual of grabbing a coffee, schmoozing with fellow vendors and catching up with customers’ happenings. We truly love being a part of our market customers’ lives. We’ve watched families grow all the while packing up goat milk soaps for the new baby. We’ve watched kids go off to college with a care package full of Squeaky Cleans. We’ve been in Christmas stockings and bridal showers and housewarmings. It truly warms our heart thinking of all the happy occasions that we had a tiny part of.
So while I wake up a little later and sip leisurely on a cup of coffee, I’ll be missing all of you. But only for a moment.
We’ll be back in two weeks! Yes, you read that correctly. We’ll be back November 29 for the start of Holly Days. You can find us back at the pavilion from 10 am until 3 pm with our regular soaps as well as some limited edition gift items. I know Farmington’s DDA is currently updating their website so check there for any information (we have a link to your right) regarding dates. We plan to be there November 29, December 6, and December 13. We are not positive that we will be able to participate on December 20, but will update as soon as we are sure. This is an excellent chance to shop all the artisans and grab some great holiday decorations. Come and visit, the heaters will be on!
